How to Check Remaining MBs in Zong 4G Device

1. How to Check Remaining MBs for Zong 4G Internet Package?

The Zong No #1 data network provides you one-time code to check all the remaining resources for any internet package that you have activated on your mobile phone.

Here is a list of codes

  • You can Dial *102*1# for summary
  • To Check Remaining SMS Dial *102*2#
  • For Minutes Check  Dial *102*3#
  • For MBs Dial checking  Dial  *102*4#
  • For Balance Check Dial *222#

2. How to Check Remaining MBs for Zong 4G Device

But before we go ahead, you should need to know about the master number. Few of you may be thinking about what it is? Am I right? An answer to this question is:

A master number is a number which attaches to your 4G device.

When you buy a Zong 3G or 4G device, you should have to provide one your personal number. This number can be Zong or any other network.

Ok, If you don’t know your master number then you need to ask your retrial where you have bought the device because sometimes shopkeeper adds their own number.

If this isn’t possible for you then you can call Zong special helpline by dialing 9951.

i) Data Usage Check From Zong Master Number

To check the remaining data using the master number, you should have a minimum balance of Rs. 0.10 in your Zong account.

Once you know the master number, Here are a few steps that you need to follow to check how much data volume left in data SIM.

  • First, you need to Dial *6767# from your master number.
  • Select option 5 (Usage of MBB #) and Press Send.
  • You will receive a message on your Master Number having details of your available resources on your MBB Number.

ii) Data Usage Check From Device Portal

There is another way to check data usages for your Zong 4G Device and it is called a device portal or using Zong device IP address.

First of all, you need to open any browser, maybe Firefox or chrome and put this address http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar and press Enter.

If this doesn’t work, then you need to connect your Zong Bolt or Wingle device to your computer or laptop and let’s wait for few mints.

After some time, it will automatically open the browser with the software Just like a screenshot.

After adding the Zong device IP address or opening the software, Now you need to login by clicking on login link at the right top.

It will ask you username and password. It used the default username and password which is the admin, so you put admin in both fields and a press login button.

After login, you need to click on Zong Services and then click on Check Services. Next, you need to click on the check data usage button, and it will give you four options include a summary, free mints, free SMS and free internet.

Now you can need to put the 1 or 4 in the empty box, and press Send button. After a few seconds, it will send you SMS on your master number and give you details about your remaining MBB data.

It also sends you SMS into your software/device portal, and you can check that SMS by clicking on the SMS tab.

iii) Data Usage Check From Zong MBB Number

  • If you still have an issue with above-mention methods, Open your device cover and take ou the MBB SIM from the device and insert it in any available mobile phone.
  • Next, Dial *102#
    • Now Select Option (4) (Detail Free Internet) & Press a send button.
    • You will get an SMS having all the details of your available data remaining.
  • Re-insert the MBB SIM back in the Zong 4G broadband device to use High-speed Data services.

It’s totally free of cost services, and you don’t need to pay anything so you can check as many time as you want.

That Zong also has few automatic notification systems for remaining data MBs. When you consume 20% of your data bundle, you will automatically get a message about resources, similar to 50%, 80%, and 100%.

3. How to Check Remaining MBs in Zong 4G SIM

If you don’t own a 4G device but you are using the internet on your prepaid SIM then you may want to know how you can easily check the remaining data volume, Am I right?

If so then don’t worry because the method is simple and easy.

All you have to Dial a code *102#

This method also works for the 4G device as I explain above but for this, you have to take out the SIM from the device and insert into any 3G/4G enable smartphone then you can dial direct short-code *102#
